Coral Redang Island Resort is one of our favourite resorts on Redang island. Far from the deafening karaokes and beach discos, this resort lulls to its own laidback beat. Clean, cozy, excellent customer service and well appointed chalets make this a memorable location. There is an excellent pool bar with great cocktails. This resort lives up to a high international standard.
Rooms and Facilities
There are only 40 rooms in total on this resort with plenty of space for everybody. This resort is also great for families. There are 18 standard rooms and 1 suite. The rest are composed of detached or semi-detached chalets. 
Rooms are spacious and are made daily. They all come with standard 24 hour electricity, air-conditioning and an in-house safe. There is a lush jungle at the rear of the resort.
If you’re not out soaking the sun on the deck chairs that line the beach, the only activity revolves around lounging at the comfy pool bar while sipping your favourite cocktail. Beach towels are also provided for guests. The pool bar closes at 01:00 so there is plenty of time after dinner to relax and unwind here.
Food & Beverage
The Matahari restaurant overlooks the sea and serves both buffet for guests taking the full package and individual orders from an ala carte menu. The buffet comprises of both local and Western delicacies. Rice is served alongside salads, chicken curry, mash potatoes and many more delights. The dishes in the ala carte menu is reasonably priced and has both western and local favourites. Expect mouth watering burgers, pastas together with the local specialities such as fried rice.

Season opens from March to November yearly. The best times to vist will be from April to September. The super peak season is July - August.

Redang island can be easily reached via a short 50 minute flight from KLIA to Kuala Terengganu by either MAS (www.mas.com.my) or AirAsia (www.airasia.com) The launchpoint to Redang island is Merang jetty in Kuala Terengganu. Airport transfers can be arranged upon arrival.
Our Say
Depending on your interests, Coral Redang is the perfect place on Redang island if you seek a quiet holiday. If you're looking for action, some of the livelier resorts next door could be more suitable. The service is great and attentive and the whole resort is well manicured and maintained. We couldn't ask for more and hence, gets our vote for being a favourite in Redang.
