This educational trip covers a long and slow journey into the mangrove of Kilim and Batu Gajah of Tanjung Rhu. Part of the journey will be at sea and will break in places such as Dangli island where we can feed coral fishes and observe flying foxes hanging from the tree tops. We also pitstop for a swim, visit a fish farm, explore bat caves, and observe eagles feeding. You will learn and appreciate this complex ecological system with a nature class conducted in the boat along the way. You may also spot kingfishers, monkeys, otters and dolphins.

Getting here
Langkawi is easily accessible by a one hour flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Malaysia Airlines (www.mas.com.my) and AirAsia (www.airasia.com) have daily flights to Langkawi. Langkawi can be visited all year round. The peak season is from November to February.
