Langkawi Mangrove Bidin Boat Tour

This 6 hours insightful educational trip managed by one of the best Langkawi activity providers and naturalist, Bidin, covers a long and slow boat journey into the mangrove of Kilim and Batu Gajah of Tanjung Rhu.  This 'low impact on nature' tour is different than the regular mangrove boat tours in that it is much longer, insightful  and led by  nature guides that are usually part of Malaysian Nature Society programs.

Part of the journey will be at sea and will break in places such as Dangli island where we can feed coral fishes and observe flying foxes hanging from the tree tops. There will be opportunities to swim, visit a fish farm, explore ancient limestone bat caves, observe Brahminy Kites Eagle and White Belly Sea Eagle feeding and optional visit to the Cave of Legends (Gua Cerita - a cave with ancient Arabic inscriptions).

You will learn and appreciate this complex ecological system with a nature class conducted in the boat along the way. You might even spot kingfishers, monkeys, otters and dolphins.
