WHOA! chooses to exclusively partner with B&J Dive Centre in Tioman for its excellent track record.
Here's why:
- They were one of the first dive centers on Tioman Island, and are today one of the oldest, best established and most respected dive centers in Malaysia. They just celebrated their 20th anniversary,
- B&J is a PADI 5* IDC, DSAT, DAN and IANTD training facility. They currently employ 9 Instructors, 4 Dive Masters, 1 secretary, 4 boat crew and 3 compressor crew. Their employees are loyal and very knowledgeable in Tioman Dive sites.
- In almost 19 years of operation they have trained around 10,000 divers and have taken almost 50,000 certified divers underwater. Their motto is: "safety first". In all those years they have never had a dive accident.
- Their diving crew are all trained Emergency First Responders and DAN Oxygen Providers.
- Their dive boats and dive shops are equipped with DAN Oxygen units and Medic First Aid kits.
- All dive equipment is regularly serviced and/or replaced. Their Bauer compressors deliver the best air available, which is tested regularly for its purity.
- They operate two dive boats, which are designed by divers for divers. They are spacious,comfortable, safe and are equipped with VHF Radio, Life jackets, DAN Oxygen units, Medic First Aid kits and fresh water tanks.

Includes:
- All dive equipment unless stated otherwise.
- Three (3) boat dives per day, 2 dives on the day of departure.
- Lunch and refreshments on board.

- Accommodation plus breakfast, based on the package around either Salang or ABC on the island. Accommodation is based on the availability of the resorts around the dive centre and according to the luxury. There are 4 different levels available to cater for every type of diver: Budget, Standard, Deluxe and Superior.

- DIscount for own diving equipment is RM 50 per day.

Diving season

The diving season on Tioman Island starts on February 1st and ends on November 10th. The best months to dive with regards of visibility and sea conditions are March to June and September to November. Diving is still fantastic during the summer peak season (June to August), but the underwater visibility is usually reduced to some 8m to 15m.

By Air - Kuala Lumpur & Singapore
Air services to Tioman are operated by Berjaya Air, which has a daily service. The flight leaves Kuala Lumpur for Tioman, then heads to Singapore, from where it returns to Tioman and then Kuala Lumpur. For up-to-date schedules and cost of flight tickets, check http://www.berjaya-air.com/ 
 
By Land/Sea
Kuala Lumpur  - Mersing
Transnasional operates direct from KL to Mersing from Puduraya Bus Station. Departures are at 11.00 am, 10.30 pm and 11.00 pm. Travel time is approx. 7 hours.

Singapore – Mersing
Transnasional  operates direct from Singapore to Mersing from the Kallang Bahru/Lavender Street junction (lorry park). Departures are at 9am, 10am and 10pm. Travel time is approx 4 hours. Call Pan Malaysia Express: +65 6294 7034.

An alternative route is via Johor Bahru from the terminal at Queen St/Ban San St. Take the Singapore-Johore Express directy to Larkin Bus Terminal in JB, Malaysia. From LBT, take  Adikberadkik Express service at 9.00am, 10.00am, 9.00pm and 10.30pm (ticket counters no 6 & 30) or Transnasional service at 10.00 am, 11.00am, 10.30pm and 11.00 pm.

Mersing – Tioman
Speedboats run at varying times during the day from Mersing to Tioman. Departure time is dependent on tide, but usually services depart Mersing at approximately 7.30 am, 9.30 am, 12.30 pm and 3.30 pm. Journey time is 1:15 – 1:30, depending on weather conditions and number of stops.

By Road
From Kuala Lumpur take the Highway to Johor but exit at Ayer Hitam. (2hours, 30min) From the Ayer Hitam exit, turn right towards Kluang and then on to Mersing. Total journey time approximately 6 - 7 hours.
